Bored Game Dungeon

In this game you play against another player trying to collect more gold and then secure 5 torches. It's up to random luck as you play through the board game. Where you do have an advantage is when you land on an enemy tile. The game "SCALES" down to a top down "shooter"(slasher?) as you fight off hoards of enemies. The outside boardgame world however can cause some effects as you try and beat your opponent. 

Controls:

Press "Esc" to pause the game.

Boardgame:

Click the dice to see how many spaces you can move.

Press "Space" to move forward a space.

Top Down Shooter:

Left Click to swing your weapon

W A S D or Arrow keys for movement.

"Space" for a dodge roll, temporarily making you invincible.

Hi, everybody! This is my very first jam and my very first public game. I am a solo dev and did nearly everything on my own.  I'm not super happy with where it's at because I know I could have done better, though I am so glad to have joined in in this jam. I learned a lot in the process and feel overall better about my skill level in many different parts of game dev. There were still a lot of bugs I couldn't fix due to the increasingly more spaghettified code. I hope the bugs and bad pixel art don't get in the way of you guys enjoying my game.
